Pakistan’s Fast Bowler Mohammad Amir Returns from Retirement, Available for T20 World Cup 2024

Pakistan’s Fast Bowler Mohammad Amir Returns from Retirement, Available for T20 World Cup 2024

Introduction:

A cricketer who retired from international cricket in December 2020 is coming back! But that also means he won’t be available for Derbyshire at the beginning of the County season.

Mohammad Amir has decided to make himself available for selection to Pakistan for the T20 World Cup that starts on June 1 in the USA and the West Indies! It’s been a while since he last played for Pakistan, which was a T20I against England in 2020. He retired from international cricket in December of the same year, saying he felt mentally tortured. But now he’s back and ready to play.

Mohammad Amir is a really talented left-arm fast bowler from Pakistan. He’s known for his amazing swing bowling and impressive performances on the field. He actually started playing for the international team when he was only 17 years old back in 2009. Since then, he’s become one of Pakistan’s top bowlers in all types of cricket games.

Mohammad Amir is a cricketer who played for Pakistan before, but he retired a while ago. But now he’s changed his mind and wants to play for Pakistan again! He wrote on social media that he’s had some good talks with the Pakistan Cricket Board and they made him feel like they really want him back on the team. So he talked to his family and friends and decided that he wanted to play for his country again, even though he had retired before. He’s really excited to wear the green jersey again and make his country proud.

Mohammad Amir just announced that he’s retiring from international cricket. Muhammad Amir played for Quetta Gladiators in the 2024 PSL. He was amazing and he took 10 wickets in just nine games and had an economy rate of 8.41.And get this, Imad Wasim just reversed his retirement and is now available for the T20 World Cup.

Amir’s performance in the cricket leagues didn’t do so great in the PSL, but in the CPL he’s been killing it. He’s taken 43 wickets with an average of 14.39 and an economy rate of just 6.50. That’s pretty impressive, especially since the World Cup is going to be held in the West Indies. It’s a good thing too, because our other fast bowlers like Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah have been dealing with injuries and Haris Rauf is currently out. With our pace bowling stocks depleted, Muhammad Amir might have a chance to make a comeback.

Mohammad Amir is not going to play for Derbyshire anymore. Instead, he’s decided to make himself available for international cricket with Pakistan. This means he’ll be in Pakistan from April 18-27 when they play New Zealand in 5 T20Is. He posted about it on social media and thanked the county and the coach for being understanding.
